Terms, in plain language
The short version: the tools are free, your work is yours, and I can't promise perfection.
What this is
CrochetPatternGenis a set of free tools for crocheters and knitters: a photo-to-chart generator, an amigurumi pattern generator, calculators, and a library of free charts. Using the site means accepting these terms — they're deliberately short.
Patterns you generate
Charts and patterns made with the generators are yours. Finished items you make from them are yours to gift, donate, or sell — at craft fairs, on Etsy, anywhere. The one thing I ask: don't resell or republish the generated pattern text itself as your own pattern.
Free patterns on the site
The charts in the free pattern library are free for personal use — crochet them, gift the finished pieces, enjoy. Please don't repackage the library itself for redistribution.
No warranty
Everything here is computed honestly — real image processing, real stitch math — but it's provided as-is, with no warranty of any kind. Yardage estimates can be off by ±20%, a chart is only as good as the photo you feed it, and your swatch always wins over any calculator. You use the tools and patterns at your own risk.
The service may change
This is a one-person project. Tools may be added, changed, or retired, and I can't guarantee uptime. If you make something you want to keep, download it or print it — don't rely on a link living forever.
