How to crochet it

  1. Grab yellow scraps and a 5 mm hook

    About 25 yards total. Worsted weight with a 5.0 mm (H/8) hook makes a bee of roughly 18 × 10 cm — perfect patch size.

  2. Work 15 rows bottom-up

    One cell = one single crochet. The stripes are your built-in row counter: yellow band, black band, yellow band. Wings come last.
