How to crochet it

  1. Grab green (or purple) and a 5 mm hook

    About 35 yards total in worsted weight — the largest chart in the animal set, still stash-friendly. A 5.0 mm (H/8) hook gives a dino of roughly 22 × 13 cm.

  2. Work 19 rows bottom-up

    One cell = one single crochet. Start at the tail, build up the body, and place the spikes last — the belly patch keeps your counting honest in the middle rows.

  3. Complete the prehistoric scene
