Assembly

Sew the head to the body between R9 and R10. The head stacks on top of the body — the doll stands upright.
Sew the arms to the body between R6 and R8. One on each side of the upper body, angled slightly downward.
Sew the legs to the body between R1 and R3. Side by side under the body so the doll stands.
Stuff firmly before closing each piece. Add the safety eyes before sewing shut.

Gauge: 16 sc × 18 rounds = 10 cm. Keep it tight so the stuffing doesn’t show. US terms: sc = single crochet, inc = 2 sc in one stitch, dec = sc 2 together. Worked in a spiral — mark the first stitch of each round.

Every toy is built from simple rounded pieces — pick a ready-made base body (a chibi doll or a standing animal) or start from a blank ball and add ears, limbs, and more from the 8 base shapes — each one a smooth surface of revolution. The generator slices that shape into crochet rounds at a standard amigurumi gauge, works out where the increases and decreases fall, and writes the rounds in plain US terms, just like a published pattern. Because the stitch counts come from the geometry, they always add up: no miscounted rounds, no mystery numbers.

Move the size slider and everything is recomputed from scratch — round counts, stitch counts, yarn estimates, safety eye size — so resizing a pattern stops being an evening with a calculator. The pattern is worked in a continuous spiral in worsted weight yarn; crochet tightly and stuff firmly.

Yes — that is the point of the size slider. Set any finished height between 8 and 30 cm and every round is recomputed from the geometry: round counts, stitch counts, yarn amounts, and even the recommended safety eye size all scale with it. No more halving or doubling a written pattern by hand.

What yarn and hook should I use?

The pattern assumes worsted weight yarn with a 4 mm (G-6) hook at a tight amigurumi gauge (16 sc × 18 rounds = 10 cm). Exact gauge is not critical — just crochet tightly enough that the stuffing does not show through. Thicker yarn and a bigger hook give you a larger, chunkier toy with the same instructions.
